Uganda international coach Charles Ayieko has officially left his coaching role with Tanzanian heavy weights Simba Queens.

The gaffer who joined the Tanzanian giants last year leaves the club after eight months.

Ayieko joined Simba Queens at the start of October in 2022 after helping She Corporate FC to reach the finals of CAF Women’s Champions League Zonal qualifiers in Tanzania.

The former Maroons FC tactician later left She Corporate FC and joined Simba Queens, a team he guided to the historical semifinals of CAF Women’s Champions League.

Simba Queens failed to retain the Serengeti Elite Women’s Premier League, finishing second behind the unbeaten JKT Queens.

The CAF A licensed coach is linked to the Crested Cranes role ahead of Olympics qualifiers next month.
