City Oil has concluded its year-long Dubai Desert Challenge promotion, announcing seven lucky winners during a final draw held on Monday, July 22nd, 2024, at the Namirembe road branch. The event was presided over by guest of honor Hon. Dusman Okee.
Three Grand Prize Winners to Experience the Wonders of Abu Dhabi
The grand prize draw saw three winners, Hassan Birimuye, Wilber Ashasha, and Ivan Twongyeeirwe, score an all-inclusive trip to Abu Dhabi for the Dubai Desert Challenge. These winners join four others who secured their spots throughout the year-long promotion.
The grand prize includes a fully sponsored four-day trip to Dubai in September 2024. Adnoc Lubricants, City Oil’s brand, will cover all travel expenses.
City Oil Marketing Manager Herbert Bashasha congratulated the winners and highlighted the promotion’s accessibility:
“This was our final draw for the Dubai Desert Challenge. To enter, customers simply needed to service their car at any City Oil branch. We had two categories, the drive-in and taxi customers. We’ve run this promotion for a year, and the winners will enjoy a four-day trip to Dubai courtesy of City Oil,” he said.
Wilber Ashasha Expresses Gratitude and Excitement for Upcoming Trip
Winner Wilber Ashasha could barely contain his excitement: “I thank God for this opportunity. I participated but never expected to win! I’m so happy, especially because I’ve never been to Dubai. Thank you, City Oil, for this amazing offer and your excellent service. This is my second year servicing my car here.” (Registration number CGO1981 AC07)
Additional Winners Score Free Services and Fuel
Apart from the grand prize winners, four other lucky customers walked away with rewards. Paul Mwanje (UAQ476S, serviced at Nakawa branch) and Ssekamate (taxi number UBQ974R, serviced at Bombo road branch) won free wheel alignment and balancing services.
Diana (UBE 046E, serviced at Nakawa branch) and Sunday Baberawo (taxi number UBA663S, serviced at Bombo road branch) each received 100,000 UGX worth of fuel.
