Uganda’s Netball team, the She Cranes out-muscled, dominated and beat Northern Ireland 63-26 to pick their second win at the ongoing Commonwealth Games.
The Wednesday night victory came off the back of an agonizing 56-35 loss inflicted by England on Tuesday.
It was an absolutely dominant display by the Cranes who led 11-05 by the end of the opening quarter.
The gap grew bigger to 17 goals by halftime, before widening to 27 by full-time.
Mary Nuba Cholhok was the star of the show as she scored 41 goals, with Shadiah Nassanga and Irene Eyaru adding 14 and 8 respectively.
Uganda will have to fend off opposition from Malawi if they are to finish third in Group B. New Zealand and England occupy first and second respectively.
With a third place finish, Uganda will take on South Africa in a placement game, in what also promises to be mouthwatering action.
