Crested Cranes goalkeeper Hadijah Nalongo has joined She Corporate FC from from FUFA Women Super League side UCU Lady Cardinals.
Nalongo has already started training with the Sharks as they prepare for the second round of the FUFA Women Elite League this weekend.
The 2022 CECAFA Women’s senior challenge championship winner, has not been happy at UCU Lady Cardinals since the start of this season where she wasn’t sure of her place in the starting lineup.
Compatriot Natasha Barbara has sometimes been starting ahead of Nalongo at UCU Lady Cardinals and the later decided to leave the club to find more game time.
She Corporate FC finished on top of the table after winning all their six games of the first round and they’ll start the second round this Sunday on the road against Tooro Queens.
After being relegated to FUFA Women Elite League last season, the Nakawa based side are on the mission of gaining immediate promotion and they’re trying to strengthen their squad.
According to our sources, the 2021/22 FUFA Women Super League champions are expected to sign more than six players today.
