Ugandan International goalkeeper Vanessa Edith Karungi has reportedly completed her move to Football Club Nordsjælland.
Karungi has been playing for Danish second tier club B93 Boldklubben for the past two years.
The shot stopper who joined B93 Boldblukken in 2021 from She Corporate FC on a two year employment contract will now play top tier football in the 2023/24 season.
Football Club Nordsjælland plays in the Danish top division Elitedivisionen and they expect Vanessa to be an added value to the squad.
The 23yr old custodian, will be the second African player at Football Club Nordsjælland after Ghanian forward Princess Marfo.
Yesterday, Vanessa Karungi missed on the Crested Cranes provisional squad ahead of Olympic qualifier game against Rwanda.
In 2017 the custodian won three individual accolades, USPA Female Footballer of the year, best Goalkeeper in FUFA Women’s Cup and best Goalkeeper in the National Ball Games held in Kabale.
Karungi has previously featured for Olila Girls High, She Corporates and B93 Boldklubben.
