Express duo sign contract extensions

Express Football Club has announced the contract extensions of the midfield duo of Daniel Shabene and Joshua Musoke, to kickstart the rebuilding process.

Shabene, who joined the Red Eagles in 2019 from BUL FC, has extended for a further three years until 2025.

“I have been a part of the red eagles since 2019 and leaving the club would mean a change in my desires. Express has what I want and it’s nice here,” the player was quoted by the Club website.

“I’ve worked with the new coach and anyone who loves making the game interesting would surely love to keep around.This is my second spell at Express FC so that means am here for more achievements and successes.”

Express head coach, James Odoch was in full delight upon tying down his man for a further three years.

“He is a great ball player with an experience that makes him suit our targets for the next seasons. It’s an absolute advantage that we have had him extend his contract,” said Odoch, who also just recently, tied the knot on a permanent basis with the ‘Mukwano Gwabangi’.

“I think he [Daniel] is a magnificent holding midfielder and I think the fans will and have always enjoyed watching him, because he’s creative, he has ideas. with his ambitions, targets and positivity, I believe we can build a strong and competitive team with him in the centre of the pitch.”

On the other hand, Musoke has also completed the extension of his stay at Wankulukuku for an undisclosed period.
