The third edition of the Federation of Uganda Football Association provinces tournament, FUFA Drum is inside the final bend.

This Saturday, the first leg of the 2022 final will see West Nile host Lango province at Greenlight Stadium in Arua at 3pm.

The return leg will see KCCA FC and Uganda Cranes attacking midfielder Allan Okello‘s side host West Nile at the Akiibua Stadium in Lira.

Both teams are eyeing their maiden FUFA Drum title but this is West Nile’s second final who went down to Buganda in the first edition.

With the national team comprised of local based players out of the country for CHAN, both sides are going to be without some starters.

Lango is to miss key men in Rogers Mato and Moses Aliro in the final third while West Nile will have to find a suitable replacement for custodian Nafian Alionzi.

Before the COVID-19 lockdown, defending champions Acholi defeated Bukedi 5-3 during a tense penalty shoot-out to win the 2019 final following goal-less normal time action.
