The 2022/23 FUFA Juniors League National Championship kicks off today with two exciting games at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.
Vipers SC JT, Prosper Soccer Academy, Bul FC JT, Mbarara Soccer Academy and Friends of Soccer Academy emerged winners in the Buganda, Kampala, Eastern, Western and Kitara regions respectively to qualify.

All the five teams reported yesterday with each team having 20 players and 5 officials.
The Kampala region winners Prosper Soccer Academy will play Friends of Friends Soccer Academy in the opener at 2pm at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.
The second game of the day will see Buganda region champions Vipers Sc Junior Team battle with Western region winners Mbarara Sports Academy later at 4pm, at the same venue.
The tournament will be played on a round robin format with each team set to play four games during the five match days.

The FUFA Juniors League National championship will be the climax of this year’s Regional Leagues that is happening for the first time since the change in format.
The tournament will end on 4th of August 2023 at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.
