Fufa Juniors League: Vipers JT, Prosper Soccer Academy In Action

The 2022/23 FUFA Juniors League (U17) National championship kicks off today with two games at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.

Vipers SC JT, Prosper Soccer Academy, Bul FC JT, Mbarara Soccer Academy and Friends of Soccer Academy emerged winners in the Buganda, Kampala, Eastern, Western and Kitara regions respectively.

The Buganda region winners Vipers Sc will play Western region winners Mbarara Soccer Academy in the tournament’s opener at 2pm at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.

The second game of the day will see Kampala region champions Prosper Soccer Academy battle with Kitara region winners Friends of Soccer Academy later at 4:30pm at the same venue.

The tournament will be played on a round robin format with each team set to play four games during the five match days.

The FUFA Juniors League National championship will be the climax of this year’s Regional Leagues that is happening for the first time since the change in format.

The tournament will end on 28th of July 2023 at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.

The team with most points collected from the four games will be crowned National champions.
