Kawempe Muslim and She Corporate held their nerve in the title race, picking up crucial wins as Kampala Queens dropped more points in the FUFA Women Super League.
At Kawempe, the leaders had to dig deep to beat Lady Doves 1-0. It was a tight game, settled by Latifah Nakasi’s strike early in the second half.
The win kept Kawempe top on 42 points, with no room for mistakes as the season nears its end.
She Corporate matched that result in dramatic fashion, coming from two goals down to beat Rines 3-2 in Wakiso.

Rines had taken control early through Sophia Nakiyingi and Patricia Nakato Nanyazi, leaving the visitors with a mountain to climb.
But She Corporate responded with fight. Jesca Namanda scored twice just before halftime to level the game, shifting the momentum.
Defender Rebecca Nakato then stepped up in the second half, netting the winner to seal an important comeback. The Sharks stay second on 41 points, just one behind Kawempe.
In contrast, Kampala Queens lost ground again after a 1-1 draw with She Maroons in Lugogo.

Peace Muduwa gave the hosts the lead, but a mistake at the back allowed Norah Alupo to equalise before the break.
The second half faded out with few chances, as both sides settled for a point.
The result leaves Kampala Queens third on 32 points, now seven behind Kawempe with five games left.
Elsewhere, St Noa beat Asubo Ladies 4-0, Uganda Martyrs saw off Olila 3-1, and Makerere University edged Amus 1-0.
