URA FC has signed striker Fred Amaku from Kitara FC on a two-year deal, adding firepower to their squad ahead of the 2025/26 Uganda Premier League season.
The 29-year-old becomes the club’s third new signing in the transfer window, joining midfielder Kabon Living and goalkeeper Chispas Kusiima both also from Kitara FC.
All three are part of head coach Alex Isabirye’s plans to build a stronger, more competitive side.
Speaking after completing the move, Amaku made his intentions clear:
“Joining URA is a big step for me. This club has ambition, and I want to be part of its success. I’m here to work, score goals, and help the team push for titles. My target is simple, get into double figures and make the fans proud.”
Amaku brings proven experience and consistency. Over the past three seasons, two at Maroons FC and one at Kitara, he has played 79 league games, scored 29 goals, assisted eight, and won eight man of the match awards. His goal sense, movement, and work ethic make him a strong addition to URA’s attack.
