Jinja North United FC have signed midfielder Johnson Ssenyonga from Kakooge Town Council on a two-year contract.
The intelligent and creative midfielder is expected to add a new dimension to the Jinja-based side’s midfield.
Ssenyonga is currently playing for Bulemeezi in the ongoing 2023 Masaza Cup, his last Masaza campaign.
He will be joining the likes of Bronson Nsubuga, Lawrence Nduga, Micheal Kimera, Huud Salim and Isaac Mukiibi at Jinja North United FC.
The team’s new head coach, Sadiq Ssempigi, is looking to build a strong squad that can challenge for promotion to the topflight next season.
Ssenyonga’s signing is a big step in that direction.
