URA FC has extended the contracts of Nicholas Kabonge and Bruno Bunyaga, keeping the attacking duo at the club until 2027, just in time for the 2025/26 Uganda Premier League season.
Kabonge, who joined from SC Villa in 2023, and Bunyaga, formerly of Bushenyi Veterans, have quickly become key figures in URAβs attack. Their consistent performances have made them fan favorites.
βThis club believed in me,β said Kabonge. βIβm grateful for the chance to keep growing here.β
Bunyaga echoed the sentiment: βRenewing with URA means a lot. I feel supported, and I want to give back on the pitch.β
Club CEO Allan Munaaba described the renewals as a step toward building a title-challenging team.
βTheyβre not just good players, they represent the ambition and standards we want at URA.β
With head coach Alex Isabirye leading the charge, URA hopes the duoβs commitment will boost team chemistry and strengthen their push for silverware.
