Former KCCA FC and Vipers SC deputy coach John ‘Ayala’ Luyinda has been officially unveiled as head coach of Wakiso Giants FC, on a two-year contract.
While at the ceremony, the soft-spoken gaffer noted that he and the club share similar vision and philosophy of the beautiful game.
“In our conversations, I found we share a similar vision and philosophy. It is a great honour and privilege to be appointed coach of this highly ambitious club and I am ready for the huge challenge.”
On the other hand, Wakiso Giants Chief Executive Officer Sula Kamoga revealed that it was a hard paper in picking the right man to take over the managerial role of the Purple Sharks.
“The club has taken time to access Luyinda and we believe he has the necessary tools and skills that can help the team prosper and excel,” Kamoga said.
“We continue to commit as we have done to support him and the technical team in all ways,” Kamoga vowed.
