URA FC has extended the contracts of Nicholas Kabonge and Bruno Bunyaga, keeping the attacking duo at the club until 2027, just in time for the 2025/26 Uganda Premier League season.
Kabonge, who joined from SC Villa in 2023, and Bunyaga, formerly of Bushenyi Veterans, have quickly become key figures in URA’s attack. Their consistent performances have made them fan favorites.
“This club believed in me,” said Kabonge. “I’m grateful for the chance to keep growing here.”
Bunyaga echoed the sentiment: “Renewing with URA means a lot. I feel supported, and I want to give back on the pitch.”
Club CEO Allan Munaaba described the renewals as a step toward building a title-challenging team.
“They’re not just good players, they represent the ambition and standards we want at URA.”
With head coach Alex Isabirye leading the charge, URA hopes the duo’s commitment will boost team chemistry and strengthen their push for silverware.
