Jas Mangat

His aggression in the final three sections saw him gain an advantage as top drivers such as; Yassin Nasser, Jas Mangat, and Rio Smith posted wanting times.

Behind him, Byron Rugomoka was also flying hence posting the second-best time of the day ahead of Kenyan driver Rio Smith.

Byron Rugomoka

Rugomoka who was shaped a 10 seconds penalty is five seconds behind Kikankane. Smith reached home at 2:01:15.

On a low note, day two which will also double as the closing day will have big names like Ronanld Sebuguzi and Mike Mukula Jr missing in action.

Just like other drivers, they retired due to mechanical problems as the rough track didn’t spare their cars.

Bwikwe district hosted day one which had sections inside the vast sugar plantations. Tomorrow Jinja will be the host.
