KIU Rangers’ power forward Diana Letaru has been confirmed in the United States college, as a Grayson College player.
As a KIU Rangers player in the Women’s National Basketball League this season, Letaru averaged 15 points and eight rebounds.

“With love, princess the Rangers family shall dearly miss you. Thank you for your time with us,” KIU Rangers confirmed the exit on Thursday.
“It was worth it. The sportsmanship, character, and zeal you added to the team are duly appreciated, go make us proud in your new chapter,” they added.

The youngster was a strong pillar in the Uganda National Basketball U-18 Girls’ in the FIBA Afrobasket in Madagascar in 2022.
Letaru follows in the footsteps of Jane Asinde, who also passed through Grayson from JKL Lady Dolphins.
Among the female players in the US are; Sharon Karungi, Melissa Akullu, Claire Lamunu, and Jamila Nansinkombi.
