Kampala Old Boys (KOBs) Rugby Football Club launched a chain of activities to celebrate 60 years of the club’s existence.

The KOBs RFC was legally constituted in 1963 and will in a series of events mark 60 years.

Today morning, KOBs, in the same breath, announced the acquisition of new principal health partners in HUMAN Diagnostics Uganda Limited.

“We welcome our new health partner HUMAN Diagnostics as we also launch KOBS At 60 celebrations that will have a series of activities,” said an elated Dr. Stone Luggya, Club Chairperson.

To mark the milestone, KOBs will be organizing a 2-Day Medical camp at the Kitaka Memorial 7s.

This will be followed by a charity-driven car wash, a veterans’ game, a Golf Club plug-in, and finalize with the KOBs @ 60 dinner in November.

KOBs is one of the most decorated clubs in Uganda, boasting 13 Premiership titles, and 9 Uganda Cup titles on top of being record National 7s champions.

The KOBs are coming off a 15s season that saw a fall to Heathens in the Uganda Cup and losing out on claiming a 14th Premiership win on the final day.

Regardless, they remain a proud outfit of rugby culture nurturing and grooming some of the finest talent in the country.

Congratulations on your 60th, KOBs. We’ll be there!!!!
