Kyambogo University will be aiming to make it two wins in a row when they host Ndejje University in the University Football League on Saturday.

The hosts defeated a resilient Muni University 1-0 last week, and coach Christopher Lobbo is hopeful that his team can build on that performance.

“I think the biggest thing that we want to focus on is to build on the positives of the good things that our team did in our last game,” Lobbo said.

“Competitive spirit did a lot of good things in terms of being able to pass the ball effectively than in the previous game where we looked so sloppy. Our focus is now on winning every game that comes by.”

Ndejje University, on the other hand, has not lived up to expectations so far, losing their previous game 3-0 to Makerere University at the Arena of Visions in Luwero.

Coach Musa Sekago acknowledges that his team has a lot to do if they want to pick up a result against Kyambogo.

“I understand that the steps are smaller than we expected and we have not delivered, although we deserve better results,” Sekago said.

“We must grow and learn in every game. We are still turning the situation around. It’s a process of development and construction.”

Despite their recent struggles, Sekago has promised to ensure that his charges perform to their maximum potential as they look to register their first win of the season.
