Mengo City Coach Vows to Battle Lubaga Grameen in Futsal Uganda Cup

Mengo City Coach Ismail Sendege has pledged a fierce battle against Lubaga Grameen in the Round of 16 of the Futsal Uganda Cup. The two teams will face off on Friday, October 25, 2024, at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena.

Speaking ahead of the match, Sendege, also known as “Big Daddy,” acknowledged Lubaga Grameen’s strength but expressed his team’s readiness for the challenge.

“We know Lubaga is a strong team, but we’re prepared for the game,” he stated. “We have 40 minutes to give it our all and fight for a win.”

The Futsal Uganda Cup Round of 16 will feature four exciting matches on October 25th. Entebbe Cheaters will kick off the day against Motion Sports at 6:00 PM.

Kabuusu Clouds will then take on Busunju Sparks at 7:00 PM, followed by the highly anticipated clash between Lubaga Grameen and Mengo City. The day will conclude with a match between Crown Lubiri and Nansana ASKA.

The winners of these Round of 16 matches will advance to the quarterfinals, joining Fiyore SC, First Touch Sports, Misenyi FC, and defending champions Park FC.
