Makerere University Business School (MUBS) head coach Charles Ayiekoh, stressed that the Saturday University Football League match with Muni University will not be as easy as put by a number of the football faithfuls.
While MUBS lead Group B with six points, Muni sit at the bottom without a single point from two games.
The Arua based institution lost to both; University of Kisubi and Nkumba University in their opening matches and, the MUBS tactician feels they could use this desperation to cause an upset at the Muni Grounds.
“A number of people may think the game against Muni will be easy, because of their position on the table but, that will be different,” Ayiekoh spoke to the media on Friday.
“After losing their two games, they will want to use that as motivation and upset. So, we have to be ready for a difficult match.”
“However, we have prepared well, traveled on time and have enough experience to pick maximum points tomorrow,” he added.
An away victory will stretch MUBS’ perfect start to the 2022 edition and brighten their chances of progress to the knockout stage.
On the other hand, a home loss will leave Muni bottom and dent their chances of making it to the knockouts.
Only one team is assured of progress to the Round of 16, from the 12 groups.
Four best placed sides will be added to the dozen to complete the round.
