The Uganda Martyrs’ Secondary School Namugongo Old Students League returned for game week 2 on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Kitante Primary School Grounds.
The decision to move the league games away from the school premises was a wise one, as it helped to ensure that the games started on time and that the league rules were followed.
On the first outing, many of the old students were late for the games, which caused delays. This time, however, the teams were aware of the league rules and fixtures, and the games started on time.
Off the green, the event was a colorful festival, with something for everyone. There was a kids’ park, complete with face painting, bouncing castles, and much more.For the big boys and girls, there were adults-only drinks available.
The league is a great way for old students to stay connected with their school and to have some fun.ย
