Namuwongo Blazers sailed to the semi-finals of the National Basketball League after a dominant 80-57 Game two victory.
The Wednesday win at the Lugogo Indoor Stadium meant that the Blazers have won the two opening matches of the three-game series.
Yesterday’s victory followed the 63-42 win in the opener on Saturday to complete the sweep.
On Wednesday night, Nam Blazers were ahead by the end of the opening half by 30-28 but, KCCA Panthers tried to put up some a fight in the second stanza but all was in vain.
The Blazers were inspired by impressive shows from; Deng Dikong (20 points), Ariel Okall (20 points) and Amisi Carmelo Said (15 points).
Nam Blazers will now take on KIU Titans in a five game series and the side which will claim three victories will progress to the finals.
Titans also had an easy quarterfinals tie as they swept Power 2-0 over the weekend.
On the other hand, in the Women’s division, KIU Rangers beat the Miracle Ravens 78-76 to take the series undented in a 2-0 victory to grace the semifinals.
