The JKL Laady Dolphins are one game away from returning to the finals of the National Basketball League.
The 2021 champions, Dolphins, won 79-66 against defending champions UCU Lady Canons, with the latter one game away from elimination.
The Dolphins had four players register points in double figures; Hope Akello had 19, Brenda Ekone with 16, veteran Flavia Oketcho registered 12, and Rita Imanishimwe scored 11. On the defensive assignment was Becky Longom, who collected 17 rebounds.

The JKL can with the series as early as Friday in their 3rd game of a five-game series.
After a slow start, the KIU Titans took charge of game two against UCU Canons, eventually winning 73-59 behind a huge fourth quarter from Joseph Chuma, in a period where they limited the Canons to just 6 points.

Meanwhile, eigh-time winners, City Oilers, took game one against Our Savior, winning 74-62, behind 14 points apiece from Ruak Ruai, Moses Maker and Fayed Baale.
KIU Ranger pummeled the JT Jaguars in their first game of the semifinal, winning 68-41.
