NEC FC have continued to strengthen their ranks ahead of next season with the signing of midfielder Allan Mugalu from Arua Hill SC.
The 23-year-old Mugalu has signed a two-year contract with NEC, under head coach Hussein Mbalangu.
He joins Ronald Ogenga, Sharif Lubega, and Isaac Balyejusa as the fourth signing for NEC in the ongoing transfer window.
Mugalu is a versatile midfielder who can play in a number of positions. He is known for his passing ability, vision, and work rate.
He made 39 league appearances for Arua Hill including 19 last season. He also scored a total of two goals across the span.
“I’m thrilled to be joining NEC FC and playing at such a club,” said Mugalu upon his unveiling on Thursday.
“I’m back home in Kampala, this is a very good place for me having started my footballing career just a few kilometers away from here.”
“I am ready to give my all on the field and contribute to the team’s success in every possible way,” he added.
NEC FC are hoping that Mugalu’s signing will help them make an impression on their dbut season in the 2023/24 Uganda Premier League season.
