Newly promoted NEC FC have signed forward Isaac Balyejusa in a bid to bolster their squad ahead of their first ever season in the Uganda Premier League.

The 24-year-old, who has penned down a two-year contract, joins in from FUFA Big League outfit, Luweero United.

Balyejusa is a prolific goalscorer, having netted 14 goals for Luweero United last season. He is also known for his work ethic and determination.

NEC FC manager, Robert Kabuye, is confident that Balyejusa will be a valuable asset to the team.

“We are delighted to have Isaac Balyejusa join our club,” Kabuye said. “He is a talented player with a proven track record of scoring goals. We believe that he will be a key player for us in the Uganda Premier League.”

Balyejusa is the third signing for NEC FC this summer, following the arrivals of Sharif Lubega and Ronald Ogenga.

The club is also reportedly close to signing a number of other players, including midfielder Ivan Asaba and defender Ronald Mukiibi.

NEC FC are hoping to make a strong start to their Uganda Premier League campaign, and the addition of Balyejusa will give them a much-needed boost in attack.
