Former Uganda Premier League champions KCCA FC, have confirmed the exit of nine massively experienced and talented players.

Attacker Allan Okello, defender Geoffrey Wasswa, forward Brian Aheebwa, custodians Benjamin Ochan, Ali Mwirusi and left-backs Mustafa Kizza as well as Brian Majwega have all left.

This is in addition to midfielders Denis Iguma and Brian Kayanja, who have all been shown the exit, after the expiry of their respective contracts.

Wasswa comes as the biggest surprise of them all, as he impressed at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo last season and was by every standard, one of the best defenders.

To add but on the contrary, Okello’s departure doesn’t come as a massive shock, as he was on a season-long loan deal from his parent club Paradou AC of Algeria.

Meanwhile, Kizza who only made six appearances last season, allegedly had huge demands to stay permanently, and thus failed to reach levelled grounds with the club.

Iguma, Majwega and Ochan have been an experienced trio at Lugogo, but were released as the club looks forward to fresh recruitment.

Aheebwa, Mwirusi and Kayanja have each struggled to impress during their respective spells, hence their exits.
