With the 2022 champion Peace Kabasweka missing in action, favorite Martha Babirye claimed her maiden Entebbe Ladies Golf title yesterday.
The reigning Uganda Ladies Open champion added the title which has eluded her for some good time at the 13th edition of the championship that climaxed at the par-71 Lake Victoria side facility.
Babirye who led day one finished the job and was crowned as the new queen of Entebbe Golf Course on top of winning a return air ticket to Dubai courtesy of Uganda Airlines.
The two days attracted 266 golfers including a Kenyan guest and two professionals and previous champions; Irene Nakalembe and Flavia Namakula.
