Power suffered a shocking 53-55 defeat to Kampala Rockets in the National Basketball League on Sunday at the MTN Arena, Lugogo.
Power, who were succumbing to a third successive loss, looked livelier than the Rockets in the opening quarter, winning it 13-07, before taking the half by four points.
However, the Rockets fought back and opened a five-point lead with a few minutes to finish the final quarter, before it eventually ended with a two-point difference.
It was a Sunday to remember for the Rockets, who were only picking their first win of the season.
Emmanuel Okumu, Kur Garang, and Adut Mayer managed 18, 13, and 10 points respectively for the Rockets, while Guellord Mobanza was the only member of the Power team with double figures.
In the other game, UCU Canons suffered a third defeat in four games this time at the hands of the UPDF Tomahawks at Lugogo.
Despite an impressive display by Jimmy Otim as he put up 27 points, UCU still lost 53-61 to the army side who were winning a third game in succession.
For UPDF, Arthur Wanyoto was yet again impressive, managing a huge 23 points in a winning effort.
