Ayub Khalifah who has been at Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC and Kawempe Muslim School for over a decade is reportedly sacked.
The departure of Samalie Nakacwa, Shakirah Nyinagahirwa and Hadijah Nandago who all joined Kampala Queens FC on short term loan deals from Kawempe left the bosses unhappy.
It’s believed that the club wasn’t happy with Ayub’s role in the transfer of the three players who recently joined Kampala Queens FC.
According to news coming in, Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC’s CEO Mr Ahmed Ibrahim Lubuulwa has fired Ayub Khalifah.
It’s also reported that Kawempe revealed that Ayub Khalifah was promised a permanent National Team job and he had to do his best to help Kampala Queens FC to get the players from Kawempe.
Recently, Ayub Khalifah was appointed as head coach of the U-20 Women’s National Team and also qualifies for the position of assistant coach for the National senior team the Crested Cranes.
Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC will be under the management of Coach Moses Nkata in case Ayub Khalifah officially leaves the club.
Ayub Khalifah is known for nurturing players and he’s arguably the most successful and best coach in the Ugandan Women Football.
The CAF B tactician is currently in the camp with the Crested Cranes team preparing for Olympic qualifier games against Rwanda.
