The 2025-2026 second double header games press conference was held ahead of the games on Saturday, October 4, at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole, before the stadium goes back into renovation.
The conference was held at Kati Kati Restaurant in Lugogo, with SC Villa head coach Kovacevic Zeljko and Captain David Owori showing up for the briefing.
While addressing the press upon the game, Zeljko said, “We are bringing the same momentum as we had in Super 8 because we want to win every game. Of course, KCCA FC is a good team, but we are good enough to contain them.”
In response, KCCA FC Head Coach Brian Ssenyondo said, “We are a better team, so we are ready to re-amend what happened in Super 8. Everything is at a good stake, except for a few injuries.”

Going into the game, KCCA FC will be without Ettiene Katenga and young forward Rogers Mugisha for the game that will kickoff at 8 pm. on Saturday.
KCCA FC Captain Charles Lukwago in the press conference said, “This is the kind of game everyone wants to get involved in. It has a big stake to everyone who takes part in it.”
SC Villa Captain David Owori, in his briefing, announced readiness on behalf of SC Villa players as they await the clash.
On the other hand, concerning the opening game of the double header, Kitara FC Head Coach George Lutalo called time up for Vipers SC over their dominance of the fixture.
“They have been bossing around, but this time we are ready to refute them. We have a well-balanced team of good players, young and experienced and we only hope for good results from them.”
Roaring all that, Vipers SC was not around, leaving them to only respond on Saturday on the field of play in the games that will kickoff at 5 pm. at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.
