She Corporate FC midfielder Winnie Nabbaale is set to join Lady Doves, according to reports.
Nabbaale, who was part of the She Corporate squad that won the 2021/22 FUFA Women Super League, is expected to sign a two-year contract with the Masindi-based club.
Nabbaale’s departure is the latest in a string of high-profile exits from She Corporate.
In recent weeks, left back Phoebe Banura and striker Apino Teopista have also left the club to join Wakiso Hill WFC.
It’s also reported that forward Spencer Nakacwa is in advanced talks to join Wakiso Hill WFC.
The Believers, as Lady Doves are also known, have already made one signing this summer, bringing in defender Ciccy Kabarwani from Tooro Queens FC.
Nabbaale is a versatile midfielder who can play in a variety of positions. She is known for her work ethic and her ability to break up play.
In 2022, Nabbaale also helped She Corporate FC to finish second in the CAF Women’s Champions League Zonal Qualifiers that were held in Tanzania.
The addition of Nabbaale will be a major boost for Lady Doves. She is a proven winner who will add experience and quality to the squad.
