Ugandan leading painters Kansai Plascon has yet again boosted Uganda’s Netball team, the She Cranes, with another selfless ‘Twaake’ hand.
Plascon has handed the She Cranes 100 million Uganda shillings to aide them in the preparations of the forthcoming Netball World Cup.
“We have renewed our commitment with a UGX. 100m sponsorship package towards Uganda’s Netball national team, as they prepare for the Netball World Cup,” a statement from Plascon said.
Plascon Managing Director, Santosh Gumte expressed his desire to keep supporting sports, with a focus of prioritizing women.
“In any engagement and partnership we engage, we purposefully ensure that the women are also at the fore.”
“We ensure they are well represented and supported. Particularly in sports, a huge number of them have made the country very proud both in the past and the recent times,” he added.
For starters, Plascon are already the official She Cranes sponsors, and this latest action is a huge positive and motivation for the team.
The World Cup is slated for South Africa between July 28th to August 06th, 2023, which is about 24 days away.
