They say start on them when they are young. However, when that fails, why not jump to another jargon?

This is what the organisers of the ongoing Northern Region Cricket Development residential camp opted for.

They went for ‘it’s never too late to start’ as a group of 30 young boys from Gulu and Lira is being taught basic Cricket skills.

The residential camp is taking place at St Joseph’s College Layibi and it is being conducted by certified coaches.

Endorsed by Uganda Cricket Association the coaches panel has two from the Northern Region (Paul Omara from Lira and Yunus Godi based in Arua).

The other technical brains are; Samuel Ojana, Grace Mutyagaba, Ivan Geofrey Kagoda, Patrick Businge, and Samuel Baker Oyet.

The residential camp’s training sessions started on the 14th of May and will end on the 24 of this month.
