Swans Beach Event Scoops The Tournament Of The Year Accolade

Oh, another easy category to award: Swans Beach Tournament. Rugby is meant to be a festival sport.

And when you add the aspect of raising awareness and fighting cancer, you are doing all the right things in all the right spaces.

They even got a kit to fit Black Pirates scrummager Pajob Edgar something his club failed when they secured a new kit midway through the just-concluded season.

The main goal of the tournament was to promote social interaction among the community through touch rugby in a fun-filled environment while addressing societal challenges.

There was no better way to kick off the month of October, the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, than to gather in numbers to raise awareness and funds to support the various institutions tackling the cancer.

With lots of sand kicked into new spots and locations, Team Housing Finance emerged as the day’s winner.
