Three players part ways with BUL FC

Uganda Premier League outfit BUL FC have announced the departure of three of their stars, following the expiry of their respective contracts.

Richard Wandyaka, Ivan Wani and goalkeeper Emmanuel Kalyowa are now free agents and will embark on finding their next moves before the season starts in September..

Wandyaka has been one of the longest serving players at the club, playing six seasons for the Jinja based outfit.

He joined from URA FC in 2017 and last season, he scored four goals and managed two assists two his name.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Kalyowa first played for the club between 2015 and 2017 before he returned in 2021 but has now exited again.

On the other hand, Wani also joined the 2022 Uganda Cup winners two years ago, scoring one goal in the just concluded campaign.

The three played a key role in the team’s excellent 2021/22 season, leading the club to the famous Uganda cup title and a fourth place league finish.

Last season, despite an excellent first round, they were undone by an abysmal second as they eventually finished eighth in the league, with 36 points in 28 matches.
