Tight Race For The Female Fan Of The Year

Part 6 of the Nnalubaale Sports 2023 Awards is another category we can’t decide on our own.

2023 was the year ladies came to the forefront and got actively involved in the game. The aura of Kyadondo was amplified when Olive blossomed.

Olive showed us something we did not know about Kyadondo – that there were ladies who supported the clubs at the swamp, but the lads were dimming their light. Olive, well done!!

Plascon

The second nominee is Olga, Prime Minister of the Chased Gang. Olga has been around rugby circles for a while, and this year has been monumental in her journey.

Olga

Olga gladly traded Kyadondo for the now stubborn Jinja Hippos fanfare. She only came back when the Chased Gang was formed—an ambassador of organised chaos and an ambassador of breaking barriers.

Honestly, how is Liam Walker doing? We have been told to ask this question, on behalf of Ms Akube Gorretti. Miss “Akubae” has her bias aligned with the motion poets on the blue side of Lugogo.

She will make the most noise on social media for her team and turn up on game days, too. She has attempted to woo Liam from Kyadondo’s landlord, Toyota Buffaloes. We wish you good luck, Ms Akubae.

Mercilina

You know Mercilina hasn’t been in the country for a long time, right? You didn’t? Oh well, that is the power of that legal scholar.

She is a cog behind most of the fans’ recruitment to happen for the Pirates ship in the last 12 years, made the most noise for the sea robbers, and also put out several fires, all of which she has done while down under.

We shall have an honorable mention for KOBs faithful “Lulu”, who has, in the last 12 months, been moonlighting as the Admin of the Hippos Fans page on Twitter (X). Double Agent work must be going well.
