The 2025 Uganda National Hockey League heads into a crucial weekend, with the men’s Game Week 11 and women’s Week 9 shaping up to be season-defining.
Unbeaten in nine games and fresh off a record 31–0 demolition of WSC Wabalozi, Wananchi lead the men’s standings with 28 points and a goal difference of +114.
But their dominance faces a real test this Sunday against third-placed Weatherhead.
Set for 5:00PM, the clash is a true six-pointer. Weatherhead, five points behind on 23, know a win could breathe new life into the title race.
Second-placed Kampala (24 points) will look to keep the heat on when they face Makerere at 4:00PM on Saturday, after cruising past WHC Titans 8–0 last weekend.
