Parliament of Uganda soccer team had a tough outing this evening as they lost 7-1 to Slovenian legends at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.

The charity-organised game by Aliguma Foundation in conjunction with UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin was a no-contest affair from the start.

UEFA boss Ceferin scored a brace thanks to a penalty and a well-taken free kick as his side humbled Uganda’s lawmakers in front of their boss, Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa.

Government Chief Whip and former State Minister for Sports Hamson Obua scored Uganda’s consolation in the 85th minute through a penalty.

Dignitaries, including FUFA President Moses Magogo, Minister of Sports Peter Ogwang, MP for Kampala Mohammed Nsereko, and other staff members of the pigeon house featured.

The talented Nicholas Bamulanzeki froze some moments before, during, and after the friendly match that saw the hosts ask for water, enjoy!
