Four-time Uganda Premier League URA FC has announced the signing of starlet Amisi Bwangani, 19, on a three-year contract from regional league side Busei FC.
The young player had a notable run in the 2022/23 season, featuring in 16 matches for Busei and making a strong mark with eight goals and two assists.
Bwangani’s talents have previously shone in St Henry’s College Kitovu side, where he played a starring role in the team reaching the USSSA football championship finals in Fort Portal.
He has scored 11 goals and made three assists in 10 matches for Kitovu in 2023.
He has also previously featured for Iganga Triangle Senior Secondary school, where he managed an impressive tally of 17 goals and ox assists across 21 matches between 2017 and 2019.
At URA Amisi will battle for a berth in the team with the likes of Derrick Ndahiro and Eric Senjobe. However the latter can play as a center-back as well.
He becomes URA’s third acquisition in the ongoing transfer window, following the earlier signings of his fellow youngsters Kisiriko Denis Luzige and Kisolo John Innocent.
