Uganda Premier League side URA FC’s strong love for younger players in the ongoing transfer window has taken a new shape.
Over 24 hours after the unveiling 16 year-old Buddo SS striker Dennis Luzige Kisiriko, they have now added another one; John Innocent Kisolo to their books.
Coached by Sam Timbe, the team has signed the defensive midfielder to a three-year contract at the Mehta Stadium.
The 16 year-old has joined the Tax Collectors from St. Henry’s College Kitovu.
He was a key pillar for Kitovu in the 2023 USSSA Schools football tournament in Fort Portal, as they went all the way to the finals, before losing to St. Mary’s Secondary School, Kitende.
Information revealed by URA indicates that Kisolo has played 18 times for Kitovu, scoring six times, with eight assists.
Kisolo has also been a key member of the KCCA Junior Team in the recently concluded 2022/23 FUFA Juniors League.
The teenager has also previously featured for Mawokota Ssaza in the Masaza cup.
He is the second signing for the Taxmen in the window after Kisiriko.
