The Uganda female national cricket side, Victoria Pearls returned home as victors today on Monday the 23rd of May thanks to a 3-2 series victory over Nepal.
The home side won the last two T20I games but Victoria Pearls had secured the series after winning three games (50 overs) on the bounce.
The series win also means that the ladies currently 21st will climb a few positions up the World ranking after collecting points from a side ahead of them in 16th.
Janet Mbabazi scooped the player of the tournament accolade hence pocketing some cash.
With the annual Kwibuka tournament in Rwanda around the corner, the girls will now have a few days off to recharge their batteries.
