Vipers SC’s Brazilian forward, Giancarlo Lopez Rodriguez lit up St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende in stunning ‘Twaake’ fashion with a thunderbolt of a free-kick against Maroons FC.
As he painted Kitende Plascon-style, Giancarlo’s goal was all the Venoms needed to edge past the Prison Warders in the classification game of the FUFA Super 8 tournament on Monday.
A work of art; the 33 year-old struck with vicious power from about 25 yards past the three-man wall to the top right corner, to send the ‘Plascon-twaake red and blue’ crowd into loud cheers.

Painting gurus Plascon Uganda are the official sponsors for Uganda Premier League and Uganda Cup champions Vipers SC.
Meanwhile, the victory came as the first competitive win for Vipers this season under new coach Leonard Martins Neiva, in two games.
Vipers will face one of Soltilo Bright Stars FC or Wakiso Giants FC in the battle for fifth and sixth in the Super 8.
