The 2022/23 FUFA Juniors League National Championship continues today with two games all at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.
Vipers SC Junior Team will take on Friends of Soccer Academy while BUL FC Junior Team will face Mbarara Soccer Academy.
Yesterday, Vipers SC JT beat Mbarara Soccer Academy 2-1 thanks to goals from Reagan Ssekisambu and substitute Frank Ssekanjako.
Vipers who sits second on the table, will be looking to win the game with a good goal margin to go on top of the table with an advantage of three points.
It should be noted that a team that wins a game with a margin of at least two goals, is awarded a bonus point.
If Vipers SC JT wins today’s game with a margin of two or more goals, they’ll go top of the table with 7 points.
They’re currently with 3 points, one point behind table leaders Prosper Soccer Academy.
The second game will be between Eastern region winners BUL FC JT and Western region champions Mbarara Sports Academy at 4pm.
BUL FC Junior Team is currently 3rd on the table while Mbarara Sports Academy are second last.
The Western region side Mbarara Sports Academy will be looking for the first win after losing 1-2 to Vipers SC Junior Team yesterday in the opening game while BUL FC Junior Team are playing their first game of the tournament.
The tournament is played on a round robbin format with each team to play four games during the five match days.
