The second round of the National Volleyball League will spike off next weekend with teams eyeing to finish inside playoffs positions.
Every game of this stanza is a finals of sorts as teams fight against relegation while those in the top half of the table push for the playoff stages.
The first round ended with Sport-S franchise on top of the National Volleyball League tables thanks to sounding start from the two teams.
The men’s side is yet to lose a game and top the log with 24 points. They are yet to drop a set as well.
Well, the women’s side, on the other hand, have one league defeat and this was in the last game of the first round, a 3-0 loss to KCCA but they are still on top of the log with 18 points.
However, the chase is on led by defending champions Orange Block Busters and Ndejje Elites in the men and women categories respectively.
