Wakiso Hill WFC are in advanced talks with defender Benitah Nagujja to join their squad ahead of the new FUFA Women Super League season.
The Wakiso-based side have been busy recruiting players in the off-season, and Nagujja would be a significant addition to their team.
Nagujja featured for She Makerere FC in the 2022/23 FUFA Women Super League, however, she didn’t get regular time under coach Fred Ndawula.
The former Uganda Martyrs defender is a free agent following her contract expiry at She Makerere FC at the end of 2022/23 season.
Its understood that the defender has almost agreed personal terms with Wakiso Hill WFC and will put pen to paper on a two-year employment contract.
In 2021/22 season, Nagujja won the FUFA Women Elite League with She Makerere FC, guiding them to Super League promotion.
Wakiso Hill WFC have already confirmed the signing of left back Phoebe Banura on a two-year contract from She Corporate FC.
Wakiso Hill WFC are looking to build a strong squad for the new season, and the addition of Nagujja would be a major coup.
