Wanderers Cricket Club and Challengers will both be looking to continue their perfect start to the season when they meet on Sunday in the National Men’s 50 Over League, at the Green Oval in Entebbe.
Both sides opened their campaigns with commanding victories last weekend. Wanderers thrashed Nyakasura by 150 runs, while Challengers saw off Patidar by 116 runs.
The two are placed first and third respectively in the table standings heading into this fixture, with Wanderers leading the table on a net run rate.
Wanderers will be seeking revenge for their loss to Challengers in the recently concluded T20 Cup.
They will hope their captain Davis Karashani returns with his scoring bat after his heroics against Nyakasura that saw him knock a century of 116.
However, Challengers will be boosted by the return of their all-rounder Kenneth Waiswa, who missed their T20 Cup semi-final loss to Avengers.
Waiswa was the Player of the Match the last time he faced Wanderers, taking three wickets.
Aziz Damani Development will also be looking to continue their good start to the campaign when they take on Ceylon Lions at the Serenity Oval in Kamengo.
Development beat their sister club Aziz Damani by 47 runs last weekend, and will be looking to build on that victory.
Ceylon Lions, meanwhile, will be seeking to get their season off and running.
The side lost by 49 runs to Kutchi Tigers in their opening game, and will be hoping to get their first win of the season against Development.
Nyakasura and Patidar will also be in action on Sunday, as they both look for their first wins of the season.
