Wanderers Cricket Club suffered their second loss of the season after going down to Kutchi Tigers by 8 wickets on Saturday in National Men’s 50 Over League.

The Wanderers won the toss and chose to bat, but they got off to a poor start, losing their first wicket in the second over. Joseph Byaruhanga was run out, and the Wanderers never really recovered.

Wanderers didn’t lose a wicket until the eighth Over, but when Jesani Dhansuk started picking them, it was a nightmare for the Davis Karashani captained side.

Dhansuk picked six wickets. He started with Sadam Oyaga who he sent to the dugout in the 8th Over.

Hitesh Prajapti (Wanderers’ top scorer with 25) then followed in the 10th Over before the baller picking three in the 14th Over.

Karashani, Geoffrey Sserunkuma and Ivan Kakande were all picked in this Over, but that was after Dhansuk had cleaned bowled Abu Seguya in the 12th Over.

Maxwell Swaminathan then dealt with the tail enders as Wanderers got bowled out inside the 29th Over.

Kutchi Tigers didn’t find any trouble chasing the target.

While Avnish Vekariya got sent off in the 3rd Over, Nanji Pindoria and Sachi Gill ensured the chase was completed in the 19th Over. The former scored 25 while the latter recorded 39.

The result takes Kutchi Tigers to the 3rd position with 6 points while Wanderers remain glued in the 6th position with 4 points.
