Defender Filbert Obenchan salvaged the hosts’ only consolation on the evening under the floodlights.

“I know it’s not easy against any team in the league, so we had to change a bit of our attitude today,” a disappointed Traguil told FUFA TV in the immediate aftermath of the game.

“We came into the game thinking so much that we had won and that’s the mistake that we made,” the Portuguese added in his honest assessment.

KCCA dominated possession for larger spells of the game, but Traguil wasn’t convinced.

“To be honest we were poor, we were poor in the decisions especially in the second half when we gave them the confidence to play and score.”

“We allowed them two (players) against one situations, too much space in the midfield and also, the defence was not strong or reactive enough when we lost the ball in the midfield.”

“In my honest opinion, it was very very poor,” Traguil summed up the evening’s display.

Following the result, KCCA will face Uganda Premier League record holders SC Villa hoping for a third-place finish.

On the other hand, URA will be keen to secure their first trophy this campaign when meet BUL FC in the final.
