Yeak Kabowa Crowned Champions of 2022/23 Futsal Super League

Yeak Kabowa edged rivals Kisenyi Futsal Club 2-1 on the final day of the season to lift their second ever Futsal Super League title.

Kisenyi and Yeak entered the final day with the same points (19) however, Yeak won all their two games while Kisenyi collected only one point from a possible 6, to lose the title on the final day.

The 2018/19 champions Yeak Kabowa, defeated Edgars 6-2 in their first game of the day before beating Kisenyi 2-1 in the most important game.

Kisenyi drew 4-4 with the last year’s champions KJT and went on to lose 2-1 to Yeak Kabowa and finished second on the log.

Yeak Kabowa’s Sahaf Kakande scooped the best goalkeeper of the season award after conceding only 16 goals in 10 games played, the least in the entire league.

Their captain Bruno Ssegirinya won the Most Valuable Player of the Season after a remarkable performance in the entire season.

Luzira FC’s Omara Samuel, won the golden boot for scoring an impressive 13 goals in 10 games.
